Hello, I have bought for the second time the following laptop:
X540LA-XX680D I3-5005U/4 GB/1TB/DOS ASUS

intel core i3-5005u
DDR3 4 GB (1x 4 GB)
HDD 1 TB
intel hd 5500

This is a brand new laptop from the store, a second one actually.

My problem is the following. I have installed windows 7 ultimate edition with no problems, the first and the second time.
After instaling the windows I get no errors or anything that would interupt the install.
Instead I get on the desktop screen for a few seconds and the computer just automaticaly logs off and restarts, putting me at the asus logo screen at which I cannot do anything else but restart the computer.

My question is: Is there any way of fixing this problem, anything I have missed maybe, because I cannot enter the bios or my desktop.

Thank you

It is a new laptop and I did contact the manufacturer, even got a new same laptop. Yet it still freezes at the same spot as it did before after installing windows.
After further research I also read somewhere that it might be the windows 7, because some new laptops have drivers that support only windows 10.

If so, is there as possibility that I can format my computer???
