frozen cursor on asus notebook

hi i have an asusx401u and the cursor has frozen on it. any ideas wat to do. thanks

Any other symptoms or info leading up to them that you can provide? A frozen cursor could be simply a locked track pad.

thank you for your response but sorted it now. turned off then on then straight away i held F8 down and pressed repair. thanks again
