Frozen Samsung S II lte

Exact same problem as the chap in this thread http/www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1633306/samsung-galaxy-doesnt-turn.html

but with the solution provided, the link no longer works. I open up the page to it telling me the page was not found.

Any one recall what the solution was? Or how I may fix it?

I had the same problem but with a differnt phone but it i think it will work for this phone as well.

1. Turn of the phone
2. Hold Volume up and Volume down and the power button (until it vibrates)
3.When you see the android logo let go of the buttons
4.Select wipe data/factory reset.
5. After it does that turn your phone off then back on and it should be working fine,

BUT if you do, you will lose all your data so back up everything before you do it, if you can.
