I assume you have correctly reported in this thread that your function keys are not working.

Assuming that they are NOT working :

Two things : it could be a software problem or a hardware problem.

If software problem : Try reinstalling your OS. (could be a safe idea)

If hardware problem : try making use of other keys to work like some important function keys or Esc key.
