Fuzzy audio on tv

Hello,
Almost daily, in the evening, the audio gets fuzzy. It will clear up when the tv and accessories are shut off for a brief period. What causes this?

what are you using for audio, what cable are you using, is it fuzzy for everything e.g. DVD, cable box...etc...?

It just seems to be the tv. For some reason I've lost my surround sound, so the audio is just coming from the tv. Thanks for your help! I'm 80, by the way.
