Solved! G74Sx Keyboard functions switch

My fiancee got a G74Sx-BBK7 a couple of days ago and it's an amazing system! We got world of Warcraft installed on it and it looks great. But, after playing for a bit the key functions decide to switch, and that's for in-game and out of game. Looking around everywhere on the computer and around the internet I can't find anything about something like this. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Check the keyboard regional settings. Make sure only one keyboard language set-up is installed. if more then one is, then delete the one you don't use, and try that.

what security software do you have installed? there's some known issues with comcast security or something.
