Solved! G752VL can't read any of my DVDs

I tried playing a DVD on my G751 and it flatout will not read the disc. I tried several other DVDs and and none of them worked wither. Sure, It still works on installation CDs but when it comes to DVDs, nothing. Not even installing VLC fixed this.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Have you checked the Region codes on the DVDs?

Has it ever worked? When you say DVDs do you mean movies specifically or any DVD does not work? If it can read CDs but does not read any DVDs, the DVD pickup may be bad on the drive.
