Galaxy 3C at 95 degrees

DirecTV has some International feeds 95, and I am wondering what LNB is used
to get these feeds? Are they using the same DirecTV LNB, or a Linear LNB ?
DirecTV claims you require a 36" dish pointed at 95 to receive this
programming, but they don't mention specs on the hardware.

Looks like a Linear LNB is required? but I am not 100% sure...anyone see one
of these dishes that will get 95 and 101 at the same time?

it's linear , but it's still encripted dss video guard

yes, i just want to see if I can get a signal with existing hardware.
DTV wants $150 for a dish, receiver with a sub which isn't too bad I
guess....if you don't already have the hardware

Last year I installed a DTV Galaxy 3 Latin America Ku band system. A 36 inch
antenna may or may not be sufficient for noise free plus reception. The system
sent for installation required a 2 x 2 x 2 ft. hole and a 4 inch ID mast mount
pipe that I had obtain locally. I used maybe 600-700 lbs. of Sakrete. The
antenna was a Prodelin 1.8 meter fiberglass with offset feed. The feedhorn was
the regular DTV lnb. The Prodelin lnb bracket kit contains several different
pieces that allow mount configuring the lnb. Basically the round neck part of
the lnb seats in two pieces of U shaped plastic and is secured by a friction fit
tightened by mount screws. Antenna tuning was very tight as it should have
been. Reception was excellent. Some of the programing was US based done in
Spanish and others were Spanish broadcasts from Venezula and Columbia. Also was
Univision, Galavision and others I cannot remember. The system equipment
supplier was located in Miami and sells a lot of those systems in Florida.

DirecTV LA, and DirecTV International are different things.

LA uses a sub Ku band (I believe linear) signal, International is
normal linear Ku.
