Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 won't connect to my pc

I have this problem after upgrading the android from version 4.0.4 to 4.2.2 is it problem with my cable or something else?

Oh sorry I didn't see it there. Try doing some of the things below to see if they help:

-Try using a different cable (if you have one)
-Try using different USB ports on the computer
-Try connecting the device to a different computer
-If the tablet has a password, enter it while the device is connected to the computer

If none of those work, it may be a software problem. Feel free to answer some of the questions below and I'll try to further pinpoint the cause of the issue .
-What specific computer do you have?
-What operating system does the computer have?
-Does the tablet work normally on its own?
-When you plug in the cable, what exactly happens/doesn't happen? Does any change at all (battery light, screen brightness change, sound, etc) occur on either end on the connection?

When i plug the yablet to my pc it only charges the battery and nothing shows up in my pc. I'm using a windows 7 64 bit. My tablet is fine on its own

i have the same problem....if all the above wont work try reinstalling the drivers of your tablet on pc...and try

When you plug it in to the PC, check the notifications area of your tablet to see if it wants you to make a choice.
