Looking for a headset with a good quality mic, preferably detachable. Comfortable to wear for extended periods would also be great.

I know the hyperx cloud is a decent choice, just wanted alternatives.

Thanks

Noway lol my last pair as well. I went with the Logitech g230's this time. So much more comfortable and the mic sounds very clear.

It's actually the headset I'm replacing, by far the best headset I've ever owned apart from issues with cross-talk. The wire finally broke so looking for a change :D

When you drop $1500 on a pc, $50 for a headset sure is appealing :) Cool might look into that one, thanks for the help

G430 uses the exact same hardware as the G230 and because it uses a digital dongle, the sound is actually worse. You're paying extra for software emulated surround sound. Not good.

Eye of the beholder I guess. I'm quite fond of the software surround compared to the previous stereo headset I had.

Sure a high end sound card with a headset that actually has surround speakers is swell but not worth the $ to my unrefined ears.
