I have the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 7567 with these specs

i5 7300HQ
8GB Memory
GTX 1050 4GB Vram

I was using it last night and while I was waiting for a game to start up (Rainbow Six Siege) I was on my phone. I later dropped my phone on the trackpad because I was not paying attention and the laptop shut down instantly. I pressed the power button it didn't turn on. I waited 30 seconds and I did the same and it turned on. However, now the trackpad does not work and it feels hotter than usual. Is that bad and what should I do?

Thanks

I find it kind of weird since I dropped my phone from like five inches above the pad. Also because this laptop supposedly has a really good build quality. All well, but it is under warranty
