I'm about to buy a 15.6 in laptop, 1900x1080, to use at school and also for gaming at home since I wont have acces to my desktop during week. I've shopped a lot during last week and raised my budget from 850$ to 1100$ since i couldnt find a notebook with at least a GTX660m. I looked at benchmark test of GTX650m and seemed a bit not enough powerful to last for my 3 years of university so i decided to go for gtx660m which is a bit more expensive. I don't need any OS with it.

Ive been waiting for boxing day to purchase my notebook but I didn't find ANY good deals for my budget!?! :(

Do you guys have any model/site/rebate that would be good for me? I'm not closed to models with gtx650m if they are worth the price!

For now, im thinking of buying a lenovo y580 (959,20 $) : http://canada.lenovo.com/fr/sdshop/SEUILibrary/controller/e/webca/LenovoPortal/en_CA/catalog.workflow:category.details?current-catalog-id=12F0696583E04D86B9B79B0FEC01C087&current-category-id=FD2E87DA2C36F27C12CC7CD3494BC0ED&action=init#.UNnWDm-cMsc

I could also go with the Sager NP9130, 15.6″ 1085$ cash (3% off), which is packed with
GTX 670M
I7-3630QM
Good matte FullHD screen
16GB DDR3 memory
500GB Hybrid HDD
No OS

The sager would be more powerfull and a better deal imo but I live in Quebec, Canada but I'd prefer getting it from a reseller near where I live so im currently thinking of buying the y580. Did anyone see better deals on it?

I'm really lost, please suggest me anything or give me any tips, I want to buy it as soon as possible since (tomorrow if possible) since I might find good deals and my next semester starts in less than 2 weeks. HELP :bounce:

Thank you very much!!!

Go to google and type best deals.

Deal news should come up that tells you all the best deals for laptops.

If you look at laptops I just read that with coupon code it drops the y580 from like 1200 to 899, so thats 50 bucks cheaper.

Plus ask lenovo for student discount or other discounts and that will also drop another 20-30 bucks, cheers mate. :)

One more thing my friend just had a horrible experience with sager, after three months his keyboard is totally screwed and it's too late to return.

(Heard others also got screwed like this and said they would never have bought it if they knew this.)

Thanks for the coupon code, it says it ends on the 26 of december. I wonder if I'll be able to buy it tomorow and also if it will drop cheaper at that date for boxing day :??:

**Edit : I've tried to apply coupon and it says coupon expired :(!
