Gaming Laptop under $900

Looking to buy a laptop for college for work/light gaming. I play games such as LoL, Skyrim, fallout 3/New Vegas,CS:GO, warframe, and will get GTA 5 when it comes out for PC. I need a laptop that will play these games at decent settings(medium or so) with about 30fps.

I was looking at the Lenovo Y40-80 at 690$, if anyone has an opinion on that laptop. Thanks.

its a good laptop.,.,.,but you might consider adding an ssd via the cd-dvd bay using hdd caddy
you can play watch dogs at 1080p med-high settings with vsync-on

Thanks. Do you think the specs of the base model of the Y50 would have better performance than the model you suggested at 899$?

yes the base model of y50 is better than y40-80

but as it is a one time investment,.,. i would suggest you to go for the 999$ of 1149$ version.,.,.,you are already spending a pretty good amound and adding another 100$ will give you a massive performance boost

but again its upto you,.,.,. since you are not an extreme gamer you can always go for y50 base model
