hi i want to buy a laptop under 100k indian rupees, just for gaming , i dont care about the screen size , i want a good laptop with good graphics card and ram at this range.i travel a lot thats why i wanna buy a laptop for gaming
you have three options , i am listing only the ddr5 gfx ones , since anything less will be a waste of money. All have same processor and gfx
1. lenovo y50-70 -(70k-78k)
good looks and perfromance , thin but below avg build quality and display .
2. asus g55 series (80k)
cant find a gtx 860 version right now but think there is . better build quality and display but avg looks.
3. msi ge60 (100k)
better looks than asus one , rgb backlit keyboard and good display just like asus. but build quality average. also too expensive for the specs.
side note : u can also build a desktop for gaming for 60000 and buy a laptop for 35k . The desktop will have 3X performance than any gaming laptop u can afford . but lack portability.
My advice get a lenovo y50-70 with 3 years warranty and spend 15 k in a 27" monitor with keyboard and mouse for your home. you will need to buy a mouse since all 3 laptops touchpad suck with buttonless design and drive you crazy.
hi bro. i prefer laptop cauz i travel a lot. i really want a gaming pc but what will i do when i travel. i had a ps4 but sold it cauz i dont get free time at home . i prefer a gaming laptop with gtx 970 or 980 .. i know for 100k i can build a gaming monster pc. i searched web but most of them are confusing.
is alienware good?
does gtx 970m and 980m make any difference?
i5 is enough or i7 needed for gaming?
lot of questions hard to find correct answer.
gaming laptops are a just a new category in india and there is barely any competition right now . you dont have much of choice. lenovo is the best bang for buck right now.
that is a great deal , just go with it , none better options exist. last i visited dell sites the alienware sections were not functioning well. you enlightened me on this.
And as far as ram is concerned you do not need anything more than 8 gb . never saw a game consume over 3 gb ram . just the case of GTA V with memory leaks consuming rams upto 10gb with time which has been resolved. battlefiled 4 takes around 2.5 gb. So 8 gb is enough right now and you can upgrade later, cuz dell retailers charge as much as the 16 gb ram cost for upgrading.
If you haven't yet purchased a laptop. I think you should check out this laptop from Azom (Its a new company, so it cares a lot about its customers) http/www.amazon.in/dp/B00TWFPRQ6/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2IXN34PTA7BV&coliid=IIBICWNJWE92R. This only costs 1 lakh 9 thousand rupees. You can also customize it for more performance if you got the money. But all in all this laptop seems like a great deal. Just trying to help a fella out!

its not like the OP will read , but i am writing to inform you about it. 920M is a mraketing gimmick of a graphics card which performs marginally better than a intel integrated graphics of 4th gen and is leaps behind in comparison to a 6th gen intel integrated graphics . 920M is for 35000Rs laptops and for only people who gets fooled by the shopkeepers buy it on anything above than rs 40000. You cant even play any 2015 game on medium setting with it.
