I just started college this semester, and have been looking at Laptops that would be useful for school, and gaming. I don't exactly have a budget as of yet, but under $2000 would be nice.

Games I would be playing are, Rift, World of Warcraft, and League of legends, those are only a few, hopefully will play Guild Wars 2 as well.

I just figured I'd come here ask some experts in this area, although I've done some research I'm still not sure what will give me the best bang for my buck.

Thanks :)

Hello tyami1993;
You can have your 17" 1920x1080 screen with a good mobile GPU, a new Sandy Bridge quad CPU and still put a few hundred of your $2K budget back in your pocket.
Sager NP8170 @ XoticPC $1409
Core i7-2630QM Sandy Bridge CPU, 4GB RAM, 500GB 7200rpm HDD, 17.3" 1920x1080 LCD and GTX 460 video card.

Choosing the GTX 470M graphics card will add $200 to the price.

I forgot to mention that 16" screen would be acceptable, but a 17" would make my day. I'd like to run these games at high-medium.
And would love quite a bit of gigs 500 or so.
And it's a desktop replacement I suppose, considering mine is 6 years old now. Permaplugged.
