Gaming laptops around 1000£ or 1300$/ Asus ROG GL702 overheating ?

Just like it says in tittle, Im looking for a decent gaming laptop for my girlfriend preferably with a gtx970 card in this price range, I looked at the Asus rog GL702 but a lot of websites say it runs hot, does anyone know if they are at all reliable ? as in will they not start overheating and in end die after a year or two of use.

there are very few reviews about the gl702 because it is new. but you will find more reviews on gl502 which are excellent. actually gl702 doesnt have an overheating problem. I know what you are saying by saying it "runs hot" because you read it in a review. There are only 2-3 reviews about the gl702 on the internet. This is a common review for gaming laptops as it does run hot but this doesnt mean it has overheating problem.. Even with MSI's and other gaming laptop you will get review that these laptops go hot but this is a very normal review about gaming laptops. Overall the gl702 is an excellent laptop for its price range and has very nice upgradeable slots. with gtx970m ,16gb ram this will be excellent. gl702 has triple cooling system also.
