Gateway black screen

Opened my laptop for cleaning dust, now it seems dead...

Gateway Ne56r
Power light comes on
Black screen
Fan turns 4 secs than stops
Dvd makes the normal sound
No signal on the hdmi port
Usb keyboard not detected
Hdd light off

Sometimes that fan behaviour points to a RAM problem. Reseat the stick(s) and see if that helps.

Did you use a vacuum cleaner near the motherboard and fan?
