Solved! Gateway MX8741 laptop motherboard

I have this particular laptop and am trying to figure out if the MB needs replaced or not? It turns on, and you hear the fan for about 1sec then nothing. Battery is fully charged. Power light is on computer but nothing? I have it all tore apart what do I test first?

Could be bad ram, take out 1 stick (if you got 2) then try, then swtich it for the other and try again, has to be in the primary slot I believe, if you don't know try all 4 combinations with the ram. Or get some ram from a friend and try that. After that maybe try an external monitor and see if you get any video on that.
