GeForce GT 740 lagging :(

Hi

I bought a couple of weeks before a new computer.

GeForce GT 740
AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor
RAM: 4GB

My problems is that every game that I run lose fps and in extreme cases crashes. I got the drivers updated so idk what could be the problem .

I was trying with Dota 2, Gmod, GTA SA and Scarlet Blade. Even the GTA didn't run perfectly

I believe these games are more CPU intensive than GPU intensive and that is why you are experiencing bad optimization. You should also know a gt 740 is not strong enough to keep up with the new games on 1080p. Download furmark benchmark and run it then post results here. This will help you compare your results with other 740 graphics cards and see if it s normal.
