That's pretty cool actually. I hope the program continues to expand and evolve.

Were would we be without the military? No nuclear power plants, no internet...

so they want to put some goofy jelly on you to heal wounds in conjunction with green light. All this is at a molecular level. But when fast food chains where busted for using genetically advanced potatoes that kept potato beetles and other insects away without the use of chemical agents they were damned for it. I don't get it. How is this any different? If the genetically engineered potato could possibly do bad things to you then what do you think this stuff is going to do?

I guess it is a potato, potauto thing....

What the hell are you talking about? One thing has absolutely no relation to the other...

I find that trying to pin everything on religion is fairly shortsighted. History is an extremely complex, interwoven subject and it's impossible to say "If only X didn't happen we would have Y". Furthermore, people conveniently like to forget that back in the day monasteries and abbeys were commonly places of scientific pursuit. The fact that they were able to have food and lodging supplied to them lent to the fact that they had more free time to dwell on intellectual studies rather than having to worry about doing something "practical" for a living. One of the more famous examples of this of course being Gregor Mendel. Furthermore, an absence of religion does not necessarily mean people will begin to act more logically.

Ahh but he Air Force used to be called "Army Air Corps", and prior to that it was part of the Army Signal Corps. Eventually Congress though aviation was significant enough to warrant its own branch, and thus the Air Force was created.

What? Lol, they stole this idea from the Predator movie 20 years ago when the monster healed himself with the light!

Hmmm... forget about it. Just take a hot iron or brand, cauterize the wound, presto sealed! Or pull a Rambo, sprinkle a little gunpowder (not too much), ignite, and BAM! wound sealed.

Obviously I'm not a doctor but I'm betting these are not themost sterile methods. You might nor bleed out then but the infection will for sure kill you later.
