does your drive play other dvd?

is it a movie dvd?? is the dvd region the same as where you live???

it does not play others either,i think i can burn discs tho,i bought a fitness machine had a dvd with it put the disc in and it came up saying something cant remember what pressed on what i thought was gonna play disc but it wouldnt play it so maybe i did something it used to play?
