Backup your files. Most likely the noise you hear means hard disk failure to follow very soon.

It could also be a cooling fan that has shifted on its bearing. If you are referring to the Main Case as a opposed to a HDD enclosure then this is a likely scenario.

Ty for info it ended up being my psu, Bought a new motherboard and processor and 600w psu. I had everything else new except psu, sound was coming from there!(after i instaled everything except new psu) It sounded like it was coming from hardrive ty all for info.
