GI (MOTOROLA) DSR 921 Assistance required

Since I cancelled my sub with Star choice, I have lost all capabilities to
download Updated Satellite listing on my DSR 921 (canadian version of the US
dsr 920 ). Ever since I had to do a Master Reset, many of the satellites are
not shown on the list and I would like to know if there is a way to
reprogram my 921 using some kind of up-to-date software using a PC and
Cable..
I still use my 921 with my 10 foot dish for FTA reception and wild feeds and
unfortunately many of the satellites I need to program into the unit are not
up-to-date.
HOW can I update the unit?
It wont download from G10 ch.13 and Sat A4 is no longer listed in the
satellite listing ( Star choice location ). Some of the satellites have
moved since the original data and using search doesn't help much.
Can anyone help me please. ? Thanks

Try G0 CH 9 or CH 14.

There is no digital signal on ch. 14 anymore. The beacon channel is 7.

If you do a master reset all of the updated maps will download and then you have to set both the east and west limits and program all the satellites you want to use. Just finished doing my GI 920 this weekend and all works good now and even gets mail and guide updates. Make sure you are on GI ch 3 first!
