Giga-Byte GA-770TA-UD3 unlock?

Hello,
Will the above mobo unlock an Athlon II? Conflicting online info. says both the SB710 and SB750 can. True? I know about the cpu ID. But the whole cpu could then run unstable, correct?

According to GB forums, the SB710 and SB750 shouldn't have any problems unlocking.

If it was me, go with a SB750 based mobo, something like MA790FXT-UD5P.

I have the same Mobo - I have a 720 X3, I did a test, unlocked the 4th core and booted into Windows - Didn't run any stress tests or anything, but yes - it can unlock cores.

I switched from Auto voltage and upped the normal CPU voltage by a tick.
