Gigabyte gaming 7 z 170

Hi,

I'd like to know two things about this motherboard which I couldn't find proper answers online:

1- does it support 3 tb+ hdd?

2- would its soundboard support a 250 or 600 ohm headphone? It says it does at gigabyte's website, but according to my research onboard soundboards are usually not so good for high impedance headphones. What about this one?

The hdd is a no problem, however for the headphones you will most likely need a separate sound card since as good as the sound cards on motherboards are, rarely gaming series have that good integrated sound card.

do you think i'd need a DAC as well? Maybe I could get a schiit amp, but the combo would be too expensive for me.

Well I would say the integrated operational amplifier would be enough, but I can't say for sure, would be best if you contacted the support desk of gigabyte, though not sure how accurate they will be either.
