Go back to the way my photos used to be viewed

I did an upgrade on my Windows 10 and now when I go to view pictures from an SD card and asked what I want to view it with I put in photos. Now at the bottom of each photo are a back-and-forth arrow, trash can and another symbol. I am uname to scroll with my mouse through the pictures and only able to use the arrows to go to the next picture or back to the previous picture. Those used to be on the side of the picture how do I fix this and go back to the way it was so I can scroll through the hundreds of pictures that I am trying to look at? Thank you.

If you come out of photos, you could see the list of filenames in Windows Explorer andd select an invidual file to view.

It's probably better just to right click a file and select Open With and choose Windows Picture Viewer.
