The i7 will give you about 10% in rendering time. But that's not really important since it happens after you done. I personally would not care if it takes 60 or 50 minutes - both are too long to sit and wait :)

You don't need to change anything unless you WANT to spend money ;) As I said. If there is no SSD or if it is small, get a bigger one. you can have a 1TB for about 240USD. That will improve your experience generally.
