Good Laptop For Computer Aided Design, Photoshop and Video Editing

Hey,
So my friend is in an arts course and she will be starting her second year soon.
She desperately needs a new computer (laptop) with these specifications:
.Must be decently thin and light. so, no MSI GT80 Titan
.must have nice specs for the things she will be doing (mentioned above)
.no macbooks
. good build quality
.must not exceed 1800 pounds.

I'd take a look at the Asus ROG laptops, while primaryily aimed at gamers they are great for this type of work (great screen, lots of DRAM and powerful both in CPU and GPU which is essential

I would look at a workstation latops from lenovo or hp. These are specifically made for this and should be able to run the software but the only problem is that they are big. If they are too heavy, the asus series should have something for you, look at either the n or the rog series depending on the intensitity of these programs.
