Looking for a smart tv on the market which cost at the max $700.

TCL 55FS3700 55-Inch is this a good smart tv for gaming? I read a review saying it wasn't, and another one saying it was, the input lag was 28.1ms and for game mode it was 27.9ms.

Specs:
- 1080p
- Low input lag
- 60hz maybe 120hz
- Smart TV
- 50 or 55 inch screen.

Solution
I dunno about gaming requirement, but if you wanna save$ don't pay the SMART in TVs. Much cheaper to add smarts via an external box like Roku or Apple TV etc, then you can put your money improving your input lag requirement.

I agree with @jsmithepa

I'm not however using Roku or Apple TV here but I do have a you beaut custom KODI setup running on Windows from an Alienware 17R2 to a 1920 x 1080 Samsung Smart - needless to say I never use any Smart TV apps.

You can download KODI here:

http://kodi.tv/

You might also wanna check out:

https://www.tvaddons.ag/

If you know how XML works and maybe a bit of Python if you want to script your own addons your sweet.

Doesn't help with the TV side of things but thought you might be interested if you didn't already hear of these.

For gaming, KODI also offers configuration for Rom Collection Browser: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=70115 plus a couple of others which I can find again and post up here if you're interested :)
