Good Touchscreen Laptop Under $800

I am going to college and I need a good laptop to hold me for about 2-3 years. I need it to be Touchscreen preferably Two-In-One (Laptop with a Touch screen like a Tablet) because I am doing Applied Math as my major.
It would be amazing if I can run high-end games like Battlefield 4 on Medium/ Low
And if it was able to run 1080p Video Editing as well

Does anyone have good laptops to recommend in my $800 budget?

Is the HP Envy x360 with the i7 processor a good option?

Is i7 Laptops perform way better than i5 when it comes to gaming?

Do you recommend two-in-ones?

PS: IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER GOOD LAPTOP THAT IS IN THE SUB-$1000 PRICE RANGE AS WELL, PLEASE TELL ME

I don't recommend a 2-in-1 for you. As an applied math major, you will need a laptop that can do some serious computing. If you need something more portable, buy a cheap tablet as well.

Thanks bro, I'm getting an ASUS N550JK-DS71T 15.6" Full-HD Touchscreen Quad Core i7 Laptop w/ Aluminum-Body, 8GB RAM & 1TB HD .. Everyone is saying how such a great laptop it is. I've been recommended to this many times.
Thanks to pointing out that I would definatly needed the power.
