Just because they all do it does not make it right, they are all doing it for the FEDS. MS has had the NSA work with them in their OS development. Ubuntu is the OS of choice for me, OS X comes in second.

nice try with the bait and switch marcus, we already know this but every phone made since 2003 or so is trackable (purely for 911 purposes we tell ourselves)
how ever googles is opt in, where's apples you are automatically opted in and for the entire life of the phone, and all that data is stored for the life of the OS and you have to take it to apple to get it turned off.
intels pentium3 processor ID reporting is about the equivelent, except every webpage was not stored on the chip for the life of the chip. it also did not store when it was there or how often.
even with IE all that information can be erased with 1 button click and much easier then apples KGB method.
next time you try making oranges into apples make sure the apple isn't a lennon.
