Google Chrome Spam

Hi guy's
I have a little problem with Google chrome,

On first launch at the begining of a session on my PC I get 2 new tabs open, one for some dynamic DSN site and one takes me to a Youtube video, strange.

I know when this started happening because I was on a site that asked me to disable my adblock, I can't remember the site but I did disable my adblock, #foolish.

I looked in extensions, nothing out of the ordinary.
I looked in settings\ on start up, it's set to continue where I left off, witch is what I want.
I looked in add\remove programs, nothing
I ran my kaspersky on full scan, nothing

I don't know where else to look or what else to do. I can live with it but if it's spyware I don't want it on my PC.


ANY help greatly appreciated..

Download revouninstaller portable @ http/portableapps.com/apps/utilities/revo_uninstaller_portable
Open revouninstaller. right click the google chrome icon. click uninstall. click advanced uinstallation. follow the
onscreen instructions. download chrome again

Ran MWB and although it found something in my reg I still have the spam pop ups

1. Go to the Your System Folder
e.g. C:\Windows\System32
2. Go to the Drivers Folder In that Open etc Folder.
C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc
3.Open Hosts file with Notepad
4. In Notepad go to new Line Type 127.0.0.1 and Webaddress you Want To Block.
e.g. 127.0.0.0 http/address.com
5. Save the File website you want to block will be Blocked.

That's sound advice but it won't solve the problem, the pop-ups will still happen it just won't show the page.
I want to know whats causing this, I'm going to submit a ticket on Google Chrome support forum. I'll let you know what they say.
