Double check that you didn't mistakenly loosen any other connectors. Another thing to try is to boot from a usb thumb drive. If you get a display, when booting from the USB drive, then you know it's the HDD and you'll need to reinstall windows. If you still don't get a display when booting from the USB drive, then you have a hardware issue.
