gpu and cpu upgradation

I have a dell inspiron 3542 with 8 gb rqm i5 2.6ghz and nvidia 840 m 2 gb integrated graphics with intel 4400 .
Can I play all high end games on it likr gta 5 , cod gghostsetc . how can I change cpu and gpu of it and enhace my hdmi output as game strucks on hdmi

The nvidia 840m is an entry-level gpu, it will play alot of games but only on med to low settings, the intel HD 4400 is a worse integrated graphics processor only able to play older games at low settings.
Your laptop does not allow for cpu or gpu upgrade.

As Bootcher points out, upgrading really isn't an option.
You'll need to lower your monitor's screen resolution and lower some of the in-game settings to achieve playable performance on some games but most should be playable (to some degree). As you are aware, you don't have a powerhouse there
