Hey guys, my friend recently bought a laptop for school and some light gaming but his GPU isn't recognized in any game he boots. ie Sonic generations, World of Tanks, etc.

I think its a driver issue since Iv'e heard of this being a problem with recent Amd chips in laptops without manual activation of the GPU.

Any tips and/or advice would help a lot.

This is the laptop:

You can 'educate' the laptop on which GPU to use for specific games in the Catalyst Control Center.
So it will 'know' to use the HD 6750M for WoT, for example.
Also, check the power settings. They might be set to default to the IGP when running on battery alone.
You can also manually select the GPU.
