GPU or laptop screen?

Hey. I have a portable that does not display your image on the screen but I connect by HDMI or VGA to a screen there already displays image on the external screen. The image that the portable screen displays is not nitida but sometimes still can see some windows image bits. Do you think that is the screen or GPU?

Hi, I don't think it's the GPU, but before changing the screen, verify the cable for the screen, without any power, open the screen and remove carefully the cable and reinstalled after.

I've already done that and it seems ok. I am going to buy a new screen an I hope it works. Ty
