GPU usage and CPU drops to 0

While playing GTA V, the GPU and sometimes the CPU usage drops to 0, making the game unplayable.

Laptop: Acer Aspire 5 A515-51G-51D3
i5-8250u
MX150
4GB DDR4 RAM

I'm thinking that the RAM might cause it?

Make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your laptop. You may also want to see what your resource monitor says when your laptop is idling right after booting up.

See if uninstalling and reinstalling your GPU drivers curbs the issue.

I'm on the latest bios. Usually it drops if ram usage >90%. I'll tryuninstalling drivet
