Green horizontal line on VLC

No matter what video configuration I choose, there's always this thin green horizontal line at the bottom of the video whenever I'm in full screen. It doesn't show when I'm in windowed mode.

What could it be? How can it be resolved?

Ok, fixed it, here's what I found on google:

"open preferences, show setting in simple mode.
click video tab, uncheck use hardware YUV -> RGB conversions.
click save, and restart VLC."
