Yeah Postini is great but like the other guys said, in businesses it's different. Some on our management receive over 100 spam a day, most caught in the filter but almost always some new ones leaking through at least once a week, though recently it has been much worse. Hopefully it will quiet down now, at least for a little while.
This is great news and may mean my work load is less.
I'm not sure what filtration system IT uses at my company, but I haven't had any spam since I started working here 3 years ago. And I use gmail / hotmail for personal email. Both effectively put spam in the right place. There are occassionally false positives in hotmail so I have to check my spam folder ever week or so.
[citation][nom]freggo[/nom]We need a two pronged approach. Go after the Spammer AND the advertised product/service.Companies have to learn that using the Services of a spammer can get expensive![/citation]
[citation][nom]freggo[/nom]That's ok for personal use but businesses don't have that option.[/citation]
Why not? My company has been using since its inception and we have moved a number of other enterprises to gmail and google apps.
