GTA V only detect 1024mb memory on graphic settings

Hello, i have a laptop, its Lenovo Z50-75 here is the spec
AMD Quad Core FX-7500 (2.1 GHz, 4M cache) Up to 3.3 GHz
VGA AMD R7-M260 2GB
1TB HDD
RAM 4GB DDR3

And i was confused and ive been looking for solution almost a month since i bought the game, its so lagging even the settings is on low quality, and when i look at the settings the video memory size just detect 1024mb instead 2gb, please help me with this problem, all the radeon setting are on high performance, not on the power saving,

How can i change the gta v, so it can detect my video memory correctly, please help me, sorry for my bad english

I think that is happening as the gpu has to share its ram with the cpu and as you have 4 gigs, the game probably needs more. Also your cpu is not very strong so lag is to be expected.

The sharing shouldn't happen if it is a discreet graphics card. It normally happens with IGPUs. Also the game is very CPU intensive. You are most likely having a cpu bottleneck and probably wont be able to make full use of the 2gb anyways. Make sure all your drivers are up to date too.
