Hi there,
the GTX 1060 in my Acer v15 Nitro is running around 85-90 degrees Celsius when I'm playing the Witcher 3 on Ultra with no AA. Managing to get mid 40 framerates so it seems fine, but I was curious if these temps are too high and/or will this be unhealthy for the computer long term? It seems this issue has been raised before but I haven't been able to find any straight answers.
Thanks

Also, the temp of the graphics card is around 49 degrees celsius with light productivity work such as browsing the internet. Is this a normal temperature?

UPDATE: Thermal Throttling was detected by intel XPU after about an hour of the witcher 3 on high settings with no AA after consistently running at about 90-91 degrees C, should I take this computer back?

Solution
If this is a new device, that is way to hot (the 85+ temps). I would consider taking it back and have them replace the device. Or get a different model.
