I was looking to get the Msi gs70 gaming laptop. However there are a few different models with different graphics card. There is one with a gtx765m at 1050. One with a gtx860m at 1200 and there is one with a gtx870m at 1350. Is it really worth the extra 300 to get the gtx870m model or should I just get the gtx765m. Can someone explain what difference i would notice and if it is worth the extra money. I will play games like titanfall farcry Gary's mod and Minecraft if that is of any help. Also this would be my first gaming PC as I usually play consoles such as ps4.

IMO the prices are justifiable for performance. Another point to consider: the 860M comes in two flavors, Kepler (previous generation, performance is more than 765M but less than 770M) and Maxwell (current generation, performance is closer, if not equal to the 770M). The Maxwell architecture is about more performance using less power.
