GTX 860m SLI -vs- GTX 880m

Hey toms, so i really need help buying my new gaming laptop, i have narrowed it down to 2 laptops but i can seem to find out which one i should get.. The most important thing for me is clean and smooth gaming and future-secure, meaning that i want i to be up to date for as long as possible hehe

I have looked at these 2, price is around the same

Looking at Xotic and came up against these two choices myself. I too would like to know, as I can't seem to find gtx 860m sli results anywhere... one might assume occasional stability issues with sli, but that's all I've got.

The GTX 860M SLI performs 28% better than a Single GTX 880M in benchmarks.

I'd also keep in mind heating issues from SLI compared to a single-card GPU. It might be a question of performance versus extra heating, but if you keep a laptop cooler on you, it should be fine

Yup that is true about heating

Most games for laptop gaming are not SLI compatible. So the single gtx 880m would be better for heat, performance, as well as price.
