GTX 970m or 980m for Gaming Laptop

I'm currently looking to buy an Acer Predator 15 gaming laptop to use while I'm in college. Obviously, the less I have to spend on the laptop, the more the money can go to for other stuff. So I am wondering if you guys think it is worth it to spend the extra $350 to get the 980m over the 970m.

I play most modern AAA games and I like to play on high settings, but they don't necessarily need to be on max. I'm hoping that whatever laptop I get will be able to play games at 1080p on relatively high settings for all four years of college.

What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!

dont buy laptop with gtx 980m or gtx 970m gtx1060m and gtx 1070m and gtx 1080m powered laptops are on the way so buy those that will be more powerful than gtx 900 series...good luck
