GTX980m 8gb vs GTX970m 6gb sli

I have a Sager NP8278-S Gaming Laptop and here is the
Laptop Specs:
- 17.3" Color Gamut 1080 Display
- GTX 980m 8GB GDDR5 Video Card / Intel HD 4600
- i7-4710MQ CPU 2.50GHz Haswell (6M Cache, up to 3.50GHz)
- 128GB MSATA SSD + 1TB HDD 7200 RPM + 1TB HDD 5400 RPM
- Samsung 8gb DDR3 RAM PC3-12800 (800MHz)
- IC Diamond thermal compound
- Windows 10 Pro
-Upgradable GPU and CPU but stock on GTX980m because the new GTX10 Series socket in CPU it can only upgrade to
i7 4910MQ

Planning to sell it and buy this Gaming Laptop also i will just add few money on it

to switch? or just stick to my Sager?

No it's not worth it because you can get laptops with GTX 1070/1080 which will give you much better performance without the problems of SLI(Especially in notebooks)
The second laptop is faster but not worth the upgrade IMO
