I am getting a GX70 3BE, nothing I can find is better than this laptop. I'm aware that the APU, the A-10 5750M Richland is looked down upon by quite the many gamers around here so I ask this;

IS IT REPLACABLE?!

I found this,

And it looks like the chip can be removed by the twist of a screwdriver, and replaced with another chip. This laptop has all the components I want for a damn good price, so I wouldn't mind getting it then replacing the APU with a 4600mq or something similar. (Possibly the new Kaveri Chip that is coming out?)

If this is all able to be done, what might be the conflicts? What incompatibilities might there be?

I'd like full on answers covering as much as they can with best explanation possible if it's alright. This is the first time I'll be doing this, I'm going to need all the help I can find.

One more thing, does anyone have an idea what's happening on the 4th of July? Apparently there will be a new MSI model of the GX70 3BE. Could it be the Kaveri?

Unlike destop CPUs, laptop ones tend to stick with 1 socket type per CPU generation, and some even have their BIOS locked so that whatever CPU you put on it beside the original one won't be able to work. This means that you most likely won't be able to swap the GX70's CPU for a Kaveri one whenever it comes out.

Thank you so much, damn.. I thought they'd be more flexible than that. Apparently Kaveri are soldered too. Is Kaveri even the Laptop Mobile Chip? I'm now getting confused with Temasi or.. which ever it was called and the other one.
