Haier tv - A strange and irritating problem

Hi everyone and thanks for the assistance.
I bought a 43-inch 43k6000 television two weeks ago.
From time to time at an inconsistent time she goes crazy and starts looking for a new resolution for television. Especially in 2401 x1080 @ 60hZ which of course creates snow and a broken screen

Not trying to be snobby but I suggest return and get something "better known."

The Haier is what third tier? U take your chances. New TVs shouldn't do what u just described.

I have something very close to what he described happen. I have had my haier for about 4 years now, and about 3 months ago, things would just start popping up like the input screen, settings, and channels would change very fast. And its annoying because you cannot control it, not even turning it off. Only way to turn it off, is unplug it. But even if you plug it back in, you cant turn it on. PLEASE PLEASE HELP! (btw I got it from santa so we cannot return it, and because its like 4 years old).
