[citation][nom]LePhuronn[/nom]OK, regardless of how annoying the meme is now, there is still a valid Crysis point to make here:It doesn't look like Crysis.Crysis was a pig we know, but if you had the hardware capable to run it Crysis was (and still is) mindblowing to behold. 3 years later the technology to run Crysis smoothly is becoming readily available, yet we don't have any games that come near Crysis in terms of visuals.[/citation]
That is because Crysis was designed for the PC. All games now are designed for the kiddie consoles first then if we are lucky they do some half ass port for the PC, that's the reason in a nutshell.

You know Halo worked well because they made a background story for it. Not every sequel needs to have complete new graphic overhaul or game changes, some people like to play it just for the story. Man I wish devs would stop spending so much time on graphics and concentrate on game play and content...

[citation][nom]huhhhmmm[/nom]looks quite goodshame i know how its going to end though[/citation]
I am trying to figure out what exactly looks good? It uses the same engine and same graphics as the last Halo games. It's just different maps and some new characters...
They are milking this game as there is no tomorrow, but hte funniest part is that some reviewers and fans keep talking about it like its the game of the year in innovation including storyline, fun factor and graphics....
It's really sad....

[citation][nom]santeana[/nom]I dunno. I don't think Halo was ever supposed to LOOK impressive. What hooked most people in and kept them coming back was the story. The 1st Halo story was almost epic in its own right. The music was superbly chosen and I loved it. Halo 2.... well, I dunno. It's like when they make a sequel to a movie that was just mind-blowing but the sequel has a different director... its ok, but there just something missing somehow. That's how I felt about it. Plus the intentional cliffhanger ending just sorta felt put on. As if they were saying, yeah lets end it this way and then we can make more money with a 3rd installment. And of course Halo 3 not being on the PC, I haven't played it. And like most of you, I am also sick of the franchise by now. If they had maintained the great story of the 1st one, then ok. But it just feels like it was made by a bunch of sellouts now.[/citation]
Nah, Halo's story sucked. It was an incredibly disappointing trilogy storywise. Being a Bungie fan, I could tell they aimed low. The thing people like about Halo is the multiplayer. Say what you want about the game or gameplay, but the multiplayer, especially with a group of friends is fun and easy for anyone to play. I might even play it if I weren't boycotting BS Xbox Live fees.

[citation][nom]deadlockedworld[/nom]Thats because Microsoft is smart enough to release games that most current PCs can play. Wider market adoption=more $$$.[/citation]
No thats because the xbox or maybe the programmers cannot seem to create any games that are graphically on par with crysis even 3 years later.
As far as "most current pc's"... what about Halo 3 or Gears 2... no pc versions.. along with many others.. most pc gamers have more than adequate hardware to run anything on current consoles yet alot of games never come to pc.

just to let u guys know.. I like CS:S one million times better than Halo 2,3,etc. the first halo blew my mind and made me think of nothing but halo the next day at school the first time i played it and DROVE THAT Warthog ZOMG jizz in my pants. halo 2,3 etc sucks a hard one in my mind. halo 3 and on to me has GOW-like wanna b "artistic" graphics. not sayin GOW is bad im sayin its great and halo is become more like it graphically. BUT the artist design in halo is good BUT.. might..uh b starting to push it too far into overkill in these Screenshots. The first halo unlocked minds bc of its total freshness negro but only gained totally lame nerds when online gaming was introduced and became big. BRING BACK THE CREATIVITY AND NOT THE NERDS. if i ever see a halo convention im gonna blow my brains out. (there prob is one tho) KAPOW........................................................................................................................................................................................................................

[citation][nom]mrface[/nom]wow someone actually said halo had an epic storyline...-naivete at its finest....although I agree that the music was awesome...didnt live up to the hype for me though [/shrug][hear come the neg votes for me being honest... ][/citation]

Well the reason people hate halo fanboys is cuz there are soo many,
so you should expect more negatives votes comming XD

Looks epic and the graphics are a big improvement. Can't wait to see what elese Bungie has up their sleeves.

heh do we really need another Halo game? I still remember when halo1 was all the rage and I wasn't interested in it. PC had better fps and hmm actually still does. But I guess if that is all they can develop so be it.

If you played any of the Halo games at all you would know what the "big deal" is.
1. The graphics are NOT the same and the ARE using a new engine.
2. It has more than just new characters and new maps it has new vehicles, armor, weapons, and new gameplay.
3. I dont see how they are milking it cosidering the fact that this is their last game.

kinda reminds me of Unreal Tournament 3, anyways this is for the new kids who just started playing xbox 360... when are they going to stop making halo... i guess never

Bungie has already said this is their LAST Halo game, however, Halo games can still be made by other companies that own rights to it.

I'm pretty disappointed in the 360. It seems if anyone would be capable of making a killer looking game on it it'd be Bungie. Instead it looks worse than even most AAA 3rd party games.

Game Informer is owned by Game Stop, thats why they sell subscriptions in the store. So next time you read any magazine, remember who's interest is really at heart (the money makers)

WOW all these HALO lovers giving negative to everybody that has something else to say then what a great game HALO is. Really, is it??? I played most of the HALO games and really can't see what the deal is. It just another FPS with aliens whoop....

I agree with you to a point. The story line was ok to keep you occupied but after the first edition they just kept spinning the same thing. It was better then some of the other games out at the time but what really helped HALO was the PR.
