I need to get myself another PS2, my 8 year old big PS2 died last year, right when I rebought MGS1. The big PS2 was great, the slim PS2 was bad, most slims Ive seen have broken down in less than a year. I miss my PS2.
I only had 10 games for the PS2, but it was well worth the money I paid in December 2001. I would still be playing it today if not for the PS3 I bought March 2009. Maybe I'll be writing a similar response in 2018 about the PS3...
Even though I'm a hardcore PC Gamer. I still love my Playstation 2 Slim(Black). My favorite games are Resident Evil Essentials and GTA Trilogy. I always treat my PS2 like my prized possession and never ever allow anyone else touch it. I must been crazy, huh....LOL
My PS2 never fails me to entertain me when it comes to good game titles
I'm still playing games on my PS2 even if newer games arrives for my PC and PS3
Several titles are just way too hard to ignore and not to mention the diversity of every game to another
Metal Gear Solid Series
Devil May Cry 3
Resident Evil 4
For me, the earliest games I played hold the fondest memories because it was all new and I played the games to death since I had limited games. The more games I got, the less I got hooked on any particular game.
SSX Tricky
Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3
[I hated FPS on console back then. Now I have been assimilated.]
