Hard reset with no Service?

Will the hard reset work if you have no
Service?? This is on the kyocera c6742

What service you have does not matter, a hard reset just reboots the phone fully. Even if you mean a factory restore, that will still work. It is reliant on the software inside the phone.

Hang-the-9, I tried all the different ways that are on the web and you tube and it won't do the hard boot, a Android thing comes up doing a optimization thing and that's it...i don't have the code to unlock it , my kid wanted to use it for his music. If ya have any other ideas let me know?

Not sure what you are doing then, are you saying it never loads all the way or it's stuck at asking you for a password? Did it work before you tried to restart it? Or did you try a factory reset?
